Chic Petite is known for their unpretentious approach and always inspiring events which bring people together to express and indulge in all things creative. Last month I went to my first Chic Petite event held in the Queen St Studio and absolutely loved it. Here’s a little about my experience at this very unique event…
The 1^st of February introduced the opening of the four day event. It was a night where all types of people mingled together, socialized, sipped on cocktails, viewed the artworks in the exhibition room and enjoyed a fashion parade along with some inspiring words from the involved fashion designers – Bachhara, Caressa, LOVELeigh and Colorage. It seemed that all eyes were on the runway and innovative creations of varied collections and the stories behind them throughout the parade and during designer chats.

After the opening night, I felt moved by the amount of creativity and as though I wanted to create a great collection or improve my artwork skills. It made me leave feeling inspired and motivated to get on with my own goals and willingness to create.

The 4^th of February was a Saturday and was all about being interactive with the artists, designers, make up artists and hair stylists. The exhibition room was filled with artworks from a number of various artists, demonstrations on mosaic crafts and a live photo shoot which drew the public in to watch it happen along the streets of Sydney. This shoot was styled so creatively, featured a gorgeous modeled and was photographed perfectly. The public seemed to enjoy this one as much as I did and the photos have turned out amazing!

I was glad to be invited by Chic Petite to their first incredible event for 2012 and even more glad to be a part of it this May! I will be taking part in the photo shoot for the next event and will also be doing an interactive style session.Keep updated with Chic Petite and come along to the next event, sure to be even better than the last!
